Caring for your mental health

4 min read

Mental health is part of overall health. Small daily habits genuinely help: regular sleep, some movement, time outdoors, and staying connected with people you trust. So does easing up on yourself — self-criticism rarely motivates for long.

A few minutes of slow breathing, a short walk, or writing down what is on your mind can take the edge off a stressful day. Limiting doomscrolling and keeping a loose routine give your mind fewer things to juggle.

Low mood or worry now and then is normal. But if difficult feelings last for weeks, get in the way of daily life, or you lose interest in things you used to enjoy, that is a sign to reach out — not a weakness.
